Empathy. Test yourself. When I think of empathy I think of the care and feelings we have towards others. Not being able to tell how others feel through facial expressions. I decided to do my test on some of the quizzes Pink put in the book.
The first quiz I took was on spotting a fake smile. I thought this was going to be extremely difficult, but it ended up being pretty simple. I scored a 17 out of a possible 20. I began to think about how many smiles you see in a day and how you never know if they are fake or not. When I stared at a persons face I could easily tell if their smile was real or not, but when you just see it for a second it is impossible to tell. When you have time you can see how their face moves you can read it, but when you are actually with a person you don't want to just stare at them. So I guess we just have to live not knowing if we really make someone smile or if it is all just a show.

The second quiz I took is on using eyes to tell persons facial expression. This quiz was also very simple for me as well. I scored a 33 out of a possible 36. You can tell a lot about a person just by their eyes.
George Herbert once said, "The eyes have one language everywhere."
This statement is so true. You can tell anything you want to know about a person by their eyes. You can see happiness, pain, confusion, the list just goes on.
